S-Con is committed to protecting the environment and the health and safety of our employees, contractors, public community and others affiliated in our everyday work activities: In order for us to achieve this commitment S-Con does:
- Require all applicants to Pass Drug/Alcohol testing before considered for employment. Once employment begins all employees are subject to random drug testing.
- Thoroughly train all employees in environmental, health and safety matters as required by Federal, State, City and Client regulations. We hold each employee accountable for compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Advise/train all supervisors in environmental, health and safety requirements, and hold each supervisor accountable for compliance with this policy in the performance of his/her job.
- Require timely communication between employees and supervisors regarding environmental, health and safety issues.
- Monitor, evaluate and report performance in environmental, health and safety protection.
- Review environmental, health and safety policies/procedures with Company’s sub-contractors so that the know they are expected to perform all work for S-Con in compliance with their policies.
- Emphasize the importance of maintaining environmental, health and safety standards in economically competitive situations.
- Review all environmental, health and safety policies/procedures and make changes so they will be pro-active in the industry.
- Promote disciplinary action to its employees who fail to comply to all Federal, State, City, Client and Company rules and regulations.
